| Full Serve E-mail is available for your domain on usasat's
new mail servers. Currently, thefirst five (5) full service e-mail accounts are provided
at no cost. Additional accounts are provided at acost of $4.95 per block of five (no
pro-rating). This service allows you to personalize
e-mail addresses for your domain, such as webmaster@yourdomain.com. Any e-mail sent
to the personalized e-mail address will be directed to the assigned USASat POPservice
account.
For proper delivery, all e-mail addresses must
conform to internet standards. Avoid spaces and "|" (pipe) characters in your
addresses. The destination address cannot loop back to a forwarded email mailbox - this
will cause both mailboxes to behave erratically.
Any changes to your e-mail service are updated every 5
minutes. Please note that e-mail service will not be available from outside the USASat
network until the InterNic has set your domain records torefer to usasat or if you have
designated another service as your domain's Mail Exchange provider (MX). By default, all
domains serviced by usasat use our e-mail forwarding servers as the domain's Mail
Exchanger.
Once changes have been initiated for a mailbox, futher
updates for the mailbox will not be available until after the next scheduled update
(listed at the top of the screen).
POP & SMTP Servers - Be certain to set your
e-mail program for the proper SMTP and POP servers in your program's configuration file to
achieve the appropiate results. Be certain to configure your e-mail program as follows:
